Many AIBs have shown off their custom Radeon RX 6800 GPUs following ASUS. MSI and PowerColor teased their upcoming graphics cards while Gigabyte and Sapphire revealed reference models of AMD’s newly launched graphics cards.
MSI Radeon RX 6800 XT GAMING X TRIO
MSI revealed their Radeon RX 6800 XT GAMING X TRIO based on AMD’s RDNA2-based Navi 21 GPU. A render of the graphics card was shown during an MSI Insider live stream. Its design is similar to Nvidia RTX 30 cards. It is a triple-slot graphics card with three fans and two 8-pin fan connectors. The only difference between AMD and Nvidia GAMING X TRIO cards will be that the Radeon offerings will have silver accents while the GeForce cards will have gunmetal accents. However, the design has not been finalized yet and is subject to change. MSI did not provide any details regarding the clock speeds or other specifications.
PowerColor Red Devil Radeon RX 6800 XT
PowerColor teased a Red Devil Radeon RX 6800 XT graphics card as well. The company released a short video clip showing the early design process for the card. As per PowerColor, the Red Devil Radeon RX 6800 XT will have a triple-fan design along with a full cover backplate. We are awaiting more details from the company for the graphics card.
Gigabyte Reference AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800
Gigabyte revealed AMD’s reference Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 graphics card as well. These cards will be manufactured by AMD, but they will be sold by Gigabyte. The packaging of the cards will carry Gigabyte branding. As they are reference cards, their specifications will be the same as those released by AMD in the presentation. Gigabyte has not yet revealed any custom designs for AMD Radeon 6800 series.
Sapphire Reference AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800
Sapphire is another AIB that showed off reference AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 graphics cards that it will be selling. Again, these are AMD-manufactured cards with Sapphire branding. The company is yet to reveal custom cards for the Navi 21 GPU.
