AMD has recently launched its Radeon RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT GPU cards. It brought competitiveness back into the midrange GPU segment. The cards announced were reference models with blower style coolers. Now, designs of a few models of custom RX5700 and RX 5700 XT AIB cards have surfaced.

XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT Custom Model

The first Radeon RX 5700 XT model is from XFX. It is a dual-fan card that comes with two 10cm fans. Despite having two fans, the card occupies 2.5-slot making it quite thick. The PCB of the card has a custom design. This XFX Radeon RX 5700 XT model features an eight-pin and a six-pin power connector. The card was first spotted in Chinese media.

ASUS RX 5700 XT TUF Gaming X3

The second custom model of the RX 5700XT unveiled recently is the Asus RX 5700 XT TUF Gaming X3. It sports three fans for boosting cooling capacity as compared to the reference models. The Asus RX 5700 XT TUF Gaming X3 has a clean look and doesn’t feature RGB LEDs. Its look is along the lines of the TUF Gaming motherboards from ASUS. The card is expected to come at a lower price and will target value-conscious consumers.

ASUS Radeon RX 5700 ROG STRIX

The first look of the ROG STRIX Radeon RX 5700 from ASUS has also been revealed. It comes with the signature ASUS ROG Strix triple-fan GPU cooler design. The card features RGB illuminated areas on the top of the cooler as well as the backplate. ASUS ROG STRIX Radeon RX 5700 will feature two eight-pin connectors and has a 2.5-slot design. A ROG STRIX Radeon RX 5700 XT will probably be released as well. Hardware.info released images and information for both these ASUS cards.

AMD RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT Custom Models Release Date

The RX 5700 and RX 5700 XT custom models are expected to be available for purchase around mid to late August 2019. We will see custom designs from other manufacturers shortly. The custom models from AIBs will improve the operating temperature of the GPU as compared to the reference cards. Models like the ASUS ROG Strix RX 5700 will feature higher clocks for increasing performance as well.
